Program Launch Engineer
Will be quoting new and current part revisions for the lost foam process. (Campfire Software)? Work with Process Engineers to help do new and current job launch samples and help determine results.?Assist with Process changes, creation of Control Plans FMEA's and controlled documentation and APQP. This is for New Jobs and current jobs.?Update and maintain the plants internal system (BLIS) with costing sheets and material needed for the jobs.?Work with the Foam Plant Engineer with tooling modifications and tooling repairs.?Work with suppliers and vendors when quoting jobs.?Translate customer needs into efficient new or existing processes in our facility, to lower costs, improve productivity.?Be able to review Customer Specifications and ensure we can run to the spec or not.?Familiar with PPAP and MSA.?Communicate with customers about new projects and part modifications.?Implement new techniques and processes associated with new job launches. This can include new equipment required as in robotics or work cells.?Any other duties assigned by the engineering manager.?Preferred:?Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with at least 3 years of manufacturing experience in a similar position. The ideal candidate will have experience / strong knowledge in the quoting and job launch process, or relevant work experience in a foundry environment.?Experienced with Automotive Core Tools (APQP, MSA, APQP, SPC, & FMEA)?Knowledge of the IATF 16949:2016?Able to travel some to customers to discuss new job launches or job modifications.?Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks.?Able to fully understand and read part drawings.?Root Cause Analysis and CI Experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
